Nancy and I remained close friends ever since 7th grade at Greenview JHS. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her 50's, and has been wheelchair bound about 13 years. Despite being in assisted living, and then a nursing home, she maintained her upbeat attitude throughout her lengthy illness. RIP, Nanc, I will miss you.

Surprised to hear of Nancy's passing. A check of my elementary school pictures shows that she was in my 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes at Rowland. I thought about her often through the years. Wondering what happened to her. I never had a crush on her or anything. Just her personality. Very unique for someone so young. I remember her always smiling and very upbeat. There she is in most of those class pictures - still smiling. Even beaming! Rest in peace Nancy, rest in peace.

Sorrry to hear about Nacy's death. She was a very nice girl in high school. I don't know of anyone that didn't like her.

My deepest sympathy to Nancys family and friends. I was unaware of her health issues over the past years, having lost touch with her after graduation. She was a bright spot in my memories of high school and Rainbow Girls. May she rest in peace

Nancy and I grew up together in our United Methodist church in Cleveland Heights. We saw each other most Sundays throughout our childhood and sometimes did things together outside of church. Our mothers were close friends. Nancy and I traveled in different social circles at Brush, but we continued to be friends until our lives took us in new directions and geographic locations, when we lost touch. I learned of Nancy's multiple sclerosis diagnosis through my mother, and Nancy and I became reconnected via Facebook. I only recently learned of her passing. She was a lovely person -- caring, thoughtful, generous, and confident and successful in her work. I'm glad she had strong connections with her family, especially the younger generations, who visited her in the assisted living facility and nursing home. I am grateful she was a part of my formative years.

I was in several classes with Nancy in high school. We weren't close friends, but she was a very nice person and always friendly. My sympathies to her family

I remember Nancy fondly. We were in the same home room. Sorry I didn't know she wasn't well.
May She Rest In Peace.

So very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Like many of my classmates, sadly I have lost contact with so many since graduation ...... I only got to know her at Brush and she was only in a class or two of mine--but she was always nice and friendly to everyone it seemed. My condolences to her family.
