I vividly remember Polly at recess in fifth/sixth grade at Sunview School...galloping around the playground and neighing, her thick blonde ponytail swishing back and forth with her movement. Polly always told everyone that she wanted to be a horse when she grew up. Rest in peace, Polly.
I just learned of her passing and was deeply saddened... The memories I have of Polly are vivid. most of all her smile.... Polly was one of the first people I met when we moved to the neighborhood... I also remember her wanting to be a horse... always friends through school we dated for some time off and on after graduation.. She was a fan of John Wayne movies... and knew everything about his horse... including his name "Beau"... I recall it each time I see one of his westerns... one date we had occurred when she took me riding.. half way through my allergies kicked in and I began to itch... by the time we got back to the barn I was a giant blotch, she got me home and made sure I was ok... not exactly the fun romantic trail ride I we imagined... we lost touch after a while lives going in differant directions... I regret that, she was a bright spot in my life ...
My heart skipped a beat when i just read of Polly...farewell...eternal peace ..i will always remember her kindness and love for horses..she was always very kind to me...we shall meet again on the other side...rip.
