Gail Oviatt wrote in with the news of Leslie's passing: "Leslie Hiat (Cooper) passed away suddenly on October 21, 2019, per her sister Lori. We became friends at Memorial Jr. High and remained in touch all these years. She never missed a birthday, anniversary etc. I treasured her friendship and will miss her. May she rest in peace. gail"
