In Memory

Diana Etzler

Kaye Lecy Thomas sent us this update:

"I unfortunately have an update for the In Memory status. Diane Etzler passed away on May 5th after a lengthy and chronic illness. I'm so saddened by this. There are way too many names in this column and I am distressed to have you add another. Thank you for taking care of this."

Diane was a good friend of mine from Memorial 9th grade until we graduated. When I think of Diane I see her smiling and laughing. We always had such a great time during our school years.  Diane I  can't believe you're gone. Thanks for the good times and memories. You'll forever be in my heart.

So sad to here of Diana's passing. She was a good friend through Brush. Had some fun slumber parties at my house with a group we hung with. So remember her falling asleep first, and we had a great time covering her with shaving cream. Definetly one to make you always laugh.

Mark Andre had just informed me this year, that she was recently found. Marilyn Dytewski Alfano, and myself had tried to track her down for quite a long time with no luck. When we finally were in touch, she did mention she had health issues, but not that they were bad.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Diana... rest in peace.

My heart is broken.  44 years of wonderful memories.  Diane pierced my ears with the disecting needle she took from the biology lab. Sorry, Mr. Sheranko!

The sun was bright and beautiful for Diane's funeral yesterday.  But it was dim compared to the brightness that she brought to so many.

I love you, Diane.  I am grateful that your pain and anguish have been released and I'm even more grateful that you have been such a wonderful part of my life.

As that brick says in front of Brush:
