Passed away May 3rd 2023. Marilyn Dytewski Alfano wrote to let us know she saw an obit for John on Cleveland.com titled: "City mourns loss of Lyndhurst legend."
I did not know John particularly well. However, I do remember that every time I saw him he had a great big smile on his face. His smile was infectious and always made me smile, too. May you rest in peace, John. What great neighbors and other people you had in your life.
Neither Kathy (Slowins) or I knew John, even though Kathy grew up on Ford Rd. Love the Team John caring and lovingkindness shown towards him - and he towards everyone he touched. I'm sure he will be missed. Great article on Cleveland.com.

I remember seeing a picture of him as "employee of the month" at the former Tony Roma's Rib place out at Eastgate one time.
