I'm so sorry to hear Mary is gone. She was my friend. She was mad at me most of the time, but she was my friend. Too young.

Oh Mary, I am so saddened to hear the news. We had so much fun in high school. I remember how we used to raid that awesome pantry you had at your house when we all slept over. And how we were all Trekkies together. I still am 40 years later! Mary, you will be very much missed. May you rest in peace.

I didn't know Mary very well, but she was one of the people who put the anti -Vietnam War moratorium day together.  A bunch of us, including Keith Weirick, wore black arm bands to protest the war.  Gary Weiss took it upon himself to blame us for being unpatriotic - what a joke!  We were all hauled in to see Mr. Miller, the Principal, back in the good ol' days of no student free speech.  I wouldn't have had that nifty little experience without her participation - too bad she's departed.

Mary was my closest friend in high school, but we lost contact after I joined the Navy. She was a very intelligent and imaginative person. The world is a lesser place without her. I am very saddened that she died young.
