Aaron Matlow VIEW PROFILE

Robin Matlow wrote to let us know that her husband, Aaron Matlow, our Brush '70 classmate, passed away Oct 3rd 2023 of natural causes. He was 71 years of age. Robin provided the following background:

"Archie graduated from University of Toledo with a Pharmacy Degree and got his first full time pharmacy job at Bernie Shulman's, in Mayfield Heights. Archie also worked at Fox Drugs, Coventry Drug until he decided to take a job at the VA in Cleveland. When it snowed one year in May, he decided he had enough of the snow and cold weather. He got licensed in Arizona and when the time was right, moved with Robin to Scottsdale, Arizona."

Aaron is survived by Robin (nee Shoham), wife of 46 years, son Adam, and daughter Lindsay.

We've been close friends since kindergarden. Such a sweet guy.

Archie and I both graduated from UT's College of Pharmacy, although at different years. He was such an incredibly nice and upstanding man. May his memory be a blessing.

Archie and I worked together at Arby's on Mayfield, I double-dated with him to my first rock concert. Booker T and the NG's were warmup for CCR at Public Hall. Always a great guy. Sad to hear he passed

Archie was the sweetest man and he always made me laugh in homeroom. My thoughts are with his family.

my condolences to you and your family.  I sat at the same table in homeroom with Aaron.  We had some fun times during those years.  God be with you all.

I was very friendly with Archie when we were kids growing up in So. Euclid, He was such a sweet guy, even as a child. I'm more than certain he will be missed greatly. Much too young to leave us. Condolences to his family - so very sorry for your loss.

Archie and I were in the same classes way back to grades 1-6.  We met again at University of Toledo and were roommates while in Pharmacy school. After graduating, we and our spouses flew out to Az to reciprocate our licenses and move out there. Well, he actually followed through and I didn't. I will miss the guy. I have many fond memories from school and studying.
