Brush High School
Class Of 1971

We’re planning our 55-year reunion for October 1, 2026.

The kick-off for the Brush 100-year anniversary celebration will be our 55-Year Reunion.  This will be a free event at The Firehouse on Thursday, October 1, 2026.  Just pay for your own food and beverages.

Over the weekend of October 2-4, the Alumni Association is also celebrating this 100-year Anniversary Event.  Their activities include attending the Brush football game on Friday night, and a dinner dance at LaVera Party Center on Saturday night (featuring music by the fabulous Blue Moons band, who got their start at Brush High School!!).  There will also probably be a Saturday brunch at the school, an afternoon family event, and school tours.  These Alumni events are open to all Brush Alumni, so be sure to tell all your friends who graduated in other years!

Although not specifically a part of the Reunion or the Alumni events, the Class of ’71 hopes to organize a golf outing for Friday morning.

As more information becomes available, it will be posted on Class Creator and on the Charles F. Brush Class of 1971 Face Book page.  More Alumni events and information can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/brushalumni/.  I believe there is also sign up information if you are interested in joining the Alumni Marching Band or Alumni Cheerleaders Team!!!

We will continue to send you emails with important details.  If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Karr-Cresho at dcresho@yahoo.com or Ray Toll at toll@cox.net.

Hope to see you in October!!!

Dear Brush Alumni:

The Brush High School Alumni Association recently reviewed our Alumni database and noticed that although we have contact information for you, you are not currently a paid, active member of the Alumni Association. Perhaps your membership expired, or perhaps you never formally joined. We would like to remedy that!

For only $15 per year you can join us!

Your financial support helps make the awarding of scholarships possible , the Wall of Achievement, the publication and mailing of our newsletter, and several restoration projects, including updating the History Gallery and replacing cracked pavers along the Alumni Walkway at the high school.

Your gift is tax-deductible: #34-1728052.

Your continued financial support benefits the Brush alumni, the current students at Brush High School, and the South Euclid/Lyndhurst community. To join, please check out the following site: https://www.brushalumni.com/#join.

(This would be the preferred method, however if you need to, you can also mail a check.)

If you would prefer, you can mail a check to:

Brush Alumni Association, c/o South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, ATTN: Membership,

5044 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124

Newsletter Contributions

We would also appreciate any contributions you could make to our newsletter.

Have you recently gathered with alumni friends for dinner? A party? A long weekend? Golf? Concert?

A short story or memory you want to share? Something to say about a favorite teacher?

If you have any news, please send me an e-mail, so that we may continue to publish a robust newsletter full of interesting information.

Thank you for your consideration.

Go ARCS (Sally Shortle Miller, '71, is a member of the Alumni Association.)

Welcome to the Brush High Class Of 1971 website; we also have a Facebook page.  If you move or find someone else who has, please email us or post a message in the Message Center. If you have photos of yourself, your family, or The Reunions, please post them here for all to see and thanks!
