KAREN MESCH-BEATTY, age 48, passed away peacefully at home following a heroic struggle with breast cancer, on May 30, 2002. She is preceded by father, Lester Mesch. She is survived by her devoted husband, Peter Beatty; and her loving children, Hannah, Adam and Benjamin; mother, Naomi Mesch; and sisters, Debra, Laura and Robin. Karen received her Bachelor's, Master's and Doctor of Pharmacy Degrees from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Marquette University. She was Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services at University Hospital, Madison, WI., until 1999. Services have been held. www.cleveland.com/obits
