Mark Guadet passed on August 11th 2009. The cause of death was cancer. We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends and classmates of Mark.

Mark Gaudet, 43

Installer for Verizon, devoted sports fan

LYNN-Mr. Mark J. Gaudet, 43, of Lynn died Tuesday in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness.

Mark was born in Lynn, son of the late Alfred “Freddy” and Frances (Graham) Gaudet. He was a graduate of Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute Class of 1984. He then went on to North Shore Community College where he received his Associates Degree.

Mark was employed at Verizon where he worked in many departments, and most recently was an Installer. Mark worked for Verizon for the past 14 years having to retire due to ill health.

Mark loved all sports, and was very competitive. His true devotion were the Patriots. He also enjoyed golf.

Mark is survived by his loving soul mate Andrea MacNally and her children Robbie and Coral. He is also survived by 3 brothers Paul Gaudet of Lynn, David Gaudet and Susan Metheny of Peabody and Matthew Gaudet of Lynn, his four sisters Laura Harney and her husband David of Lynn, Mary Adario and her husband Paul of Salem, Helen Fortucci and her husband Richard of Lynn and Nancy Dorion and her husband Larry of Indiana. His brother in law Richard Mewa of Lynn. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Susan Mewa.

Service Information: Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, Friday at 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
