Diane Lawhern (Forfar)

Diane Lawhern-Forfar, age 37, of Fostoria for six years (formerly of Mount Clemens) passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born October 21, 1972, in Warren, Mich. She married James "Jamie" Forfar on November 2, 2001, at Addison Oaks in Addison Township, Mich. Diane graduated from L'Anse Creuse North High School, class of 1990. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in English. Diane was a medical coder for Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. She took Olivia to Immaculate Conception Church regularly. She loved family and tradition. She is survived by her husband, Jamie Forfar of Fostoria; daughter, Olivia Forfar of Fostoria; parents, Robert and Rita Betley of Metamora and Jody Lawhern of Colorado; grandparents, Vada and Bill Lyon of Kentucky, John and Theresa Betley of Brighton; great-aunt, Mabel Gandy of Colorado. She is also survived by many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dana Ann Lawhern. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Visitation will take place 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Church, Lapeer. Father Aaron Depeyster will officiate. Burial will be in Rich Township Cemetery. Arrangements made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer (810) 664-8111

With my deepest sympathies and respects to the Lawhern/Forfar families! I was a classmate of Diane's, In which I remember Diane in band, and her big smile! :) She had a nice sweet spirit about her! She will be sorely missed by all of her classmates!  I am one, who is glad to have had the opportunity to know her! :) May God bless you & comfort you @ this difficult time! - God's speed to the families! :)  Respectfully submitted, - Jason Bright :)

 I did not know Diane very well in my years at Lance Creuse, however, it saddens me to hear that one of my classmates has passed on at such a young age.  My prayers go out to her family!
