Kathleen Strong Haywood

I moved to a town south of Buffalo, NY before graduating from Madison High. I finished high school and two years of college in NY then transferred to the University of Wyoming. During college, I spent my summers working in Yellowstone National Park and moved to Wyoming to be nearer the mountains. After college I spent two years with the Peace Corps in South Africa. Now I am settled in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband, Don.

I work as a community college instructor and have recently completed a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling and will be working in community mental health.

I enjoy cycling, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, international travel and singing in my blues band.

A lot of my high school memories are of playing on the JV softball team.
