 ‼️ A friendly reminder to please RSVP to Ruth or Ross by tomorrow August 16th if you plan on attending the pot luck picnic. They need an accurate head count to be able to have an appropriate amount of food and supplies. ‼️

Saturday , Sept. 18th - A pot luck picnic is being held from 2 pm until ?? at Riverside Yacht Club, 183 East 15th Street, Ashtabula, OH, 44004.  Dinner will be at 4pm. We will be providing the following:
 
• Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Buns.
• Plates, napkins, silverware, coffee, cream, sugar, ketchup, mustard and relish.
Please bring a dish to share and any beverage you want to drink.  If people from the local area can bring a lawn chair to use or share in case some can not sit on picnic tables for long periods of time.
Once again, we want to thank Roy Skinner for offering the use of the Yacht Club for our annual picnic.

The class reunion will be here soon.  We wanted to remind everyone of the itinerary options and some hotel information.
 
1) Friday, Sept. 17th - A get together will be held from 6 pm until 10 pm at the Old Firehouse Winery, 5499 Lake Rd., Geneva-on-the Lake.
 
2) Friday, Sept. 17th - A football game between Madison and Riverside is scheduled at 7 pm at the Dick Hamblin Field at 3100 Burns Road.  Two of our classmates, Tom Norman and Donald Wickert will be part of the Flag Honor Guard at the game.

Grayce and I are sad to notify you all of the loss of another classmate. Gary Winters passed away in January 2020 from complications of cancer. 

I am sad to report of another classmate’s passing, Vicky Lynn McCoy Nishimoto.  Grayce has confirmed that Vicky passed away Monday morning (2/18) from cancer in Houston, Texas where she had been living. If we hear anymore details or find an obituary we will post it. Please keep her family in your prayers and thoughts.

It saddens me to share we’ve lost another classmate. Kathy Griggs Cole notified me of Kerry’s passing. Here is his obituary.

2018 CLASS GATHERING

We are planning an annual gathering this year for our class. It's not too early to start planning your trip to northeast Ohio.  We chose the date to allow everyone to take advantage of lower rates for booking accommodations and travel, if needed.  More details to follow.  Hope to see you there!
