Claudia Wells Grant was born April 11, 1941, in Greenville, KY to Orville Wells and Mable Morris. She retired as a medical technician with Gainesville Manor in Hopkinsville.

Claudia lived in Madisonville, and passed away Sept. 9, 2013, at Baptist Health (hosp.) Madisonville. Claudia was a member of Providence Rural United Methodist Church in Hanson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ray Grant, a son Mark Anthony Rickard and brother Leonard Morris. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Jason) Greenwell of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons, C.W. Rickard of Dawson Springs and Keith Rickard of Madisonville. Claudia has six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren as well as several cousins.

There was no visitation, private graveside services were held.
