JoAnn Johnson Pendley Billings, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:41 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

She was born on October 3, 1940 in Nortonville, KY to the late Lee Johnson and Frances Briggs Johnson. She retired as a CNA with Browns Nursing Home.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Johnson; her brothers, Billy Johnson and Donald Johnson; and her grandson, David Pendley.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (David) Vandemark Furgerson and Patricia Vandemark both of Mayfield, KY; her son, Jim (Cresy) Pendley of Madisonville; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, Ky with Pastor Phil Sullivan officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
