Judy Nichol, age 74, of Hale, MI,  formerly of Dumfries, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born on July 29, 1941 in Madisonville, Kentucky to Robert and Catherine (Tippin) McGregor. She was the secretary for many years at the Triangle Baptist Church in Triangle, Virginia. Judy loved doing crafts and reading. She was responsible for creating a library at the Iosco Medical Care Facility.

Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years Burton Nichol; children, Christopher (Marci) Nichol of Fairmount, GA, and Michelle (David) Coonradt of Marietta, NY; grandchildren, Jessica (Jehramy) Richardson, Clancy (Jennifer) Coonradt, and Maggy Coonradt; four great grandchildren; brother, Dr. Ronald (Jan) McGregor of Decatur, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert McGregor, and sister, Hattie Quatrocci.

Per Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Zion Church of the Brethren, 3494 E. M-55, Prescott, MI. 48756, memorial contributions may be made to the church in Judy’s name. Arrangements were handled by the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington Street.
