                       Michael Dwaine Crowe  Sept. 6, 1941 ~ July 25, 2018
     He was born to the late Gwen Hart Crowe and Sarah Oldham Crowe and graduated in 1959 from MHS, and graduated from (WKU) Western Kentucky University, with a bachelors, master’s, and rank I. He taught science and math for over 34 years at West Hopkins High School, Hopkins County Central, and Madisonville Community College.  
     He coached baseball, golf, and tennis over his teaching career. He played baseball, golf and tennis; even playing as WKU’s fifth-seed on the tennis team his junior year.  When not in the classroom, Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman. He held strong ties to the local community and was a Kentucky Colonel.
      Mike was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and attended services at First Baptist Church in Mortons Gap. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Darrell Crowe; and, is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loretta Wilkerson Crowe of Manitou and one son Brian Dwaine Crowe of Washington, D.C., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
     Mike passed away at home; and, his family was grateful to Baptist Home Health for the wonderful care he received from nurses Michelle, Lorna and Dale the last few weeks of his life. Funeral services were July 31, 2018, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Harralson and Bro. George Brooks officiatng.                                              Burial was in Union Cemetery.
