Sharon Allen (69) of Madisonville, passed away Feb 18, 2011, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was born May 19, 1941, to Horace and Mana Russell Miller. Sharon was a member of the Earlington First Baptist, a retired postal worker (21 years) and 14 years were as postmaster of Mortons Gap. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy Allen of Madisonville, KY, her mother Mrs. Horace Miller of Madisonville, KY, one son Russell Allen and his wife Shannon of Hanson, KY, one daughter Andrea Deal and her husband Mike of Madisonville, KY, one brother Mike Miller and his wife Vickie of Madisonville, KY, two grandchildren Drew Allen and Rebecca Allen, two step-grandchildren Allissa Deal and Erin Deal, one nephew Chase Miller, one niece Ann Miller and several uncles and aunts. Her funeral was Feb. 21, 2011, burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington.
