Places lived:

I lived in Illinois after I graduated. Married and lived there until we moved to the Detroit area. Now live 6 months at my cottage in northern Michigan and 6 months at The Villages in Florida. Have the best of both worlds because my oldest daughter and family are in Michigan and Jill and family are here.

First Job. Amount of pay, if remember:

TB Sanitorium

Travel:

Haven't done a lot of traveling but was able to spend a week in Paris with both of my girls in 2008. We had a wonderful time and for me, it was a trip of a life-time.

Accomplishments:

Since I was a kid I wanted to skydive. Was on my bucket list. To celebrate my 70th birthday I did a tandem skydive. Loved it! Will do it again.

Things you do in retirement, i.e, volunteer work, hobbies, etc.:

Since moving to The Villages I have started doing watercolor and I am hooked. Classes 4 to 5 times a week. Help with the grandkids when needed. Love to antique.

Hobbies, Fun:

Everyone here gets around on golf carts. I love driving my cart. It is black with yellow and red flames on the front. Grandkids think it is pretty cool.

School Story:

Ms. Buckner caught me curling my eyelashes in class one day. She gave me quite the lecture about being an inappropriate place to be doing that.

Memories (Madisonville, School, anything):

Loved being with all my buddies. We had quite a little group and some of us have stayed in touch all these years. I treasure my memories of Madisonville High and those priceless friendships.
