Robert Richard "Dick" Mabrey, 80, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his home.

He was born on April 1, 1942, in Aetnaville, KY, to the late Mary Thomas Tierney Mabrey and Robert Richard Mabrey, Sr. He worked for himself on many endeavors. Dick loved WKU Sports, L.A. Rams, and the Boston Red Sox. His biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Elease Mabrey of Madisonville; son, Rick (Tricia) Mabrey of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Laura (Rory) McMahon of Hawaii; sister, Gail Crowe of Palm City, FL; granddaughters, Madeline (Noah) Godsey of Louisville, KY, Delilah McMahon of Los Angeles, CA, Julie Mabrey of Hendersonville, and Dolly McMahon of Hawaii; grandsons, R.R. Mabrey IV and Ranger Mabrey, both of Hendersonville and Mack McMahon of Hawaii; great-grandson, Roman Godsey of Louisville; one niece; and one nephew.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Maples officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are R.R. Mabrey IV, Ranger Mabrey, Mack McMahon, Barry Ferrell, Bob England, and Dennis Howe.
