Jan died March 18, 2006 in Earlington.

She survived by a daughter Joi Sigers, a sister Penny Baker, three brothers, James,  Thomas, and John, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Guindella Jones and her husband Larry Joe.

Jan retired from the Hopkins County School System and was a school nurse. She was very active in the Madisonville Lions Club and the Salvation Army.
