Sarah Jane...Sarj as I called her was a dear friend of mine when we were in high school....we had lots of funny stories together with HARD (Harvey, Arcel, Robert "Burt" and Dids)...we usually went to her house and her mom was so fond of me because she was teaching me Spanish....one memorable experience that we had with her was one holy wednesday, she joined us walking from Makati to Antipolo. Wherever you are, I am sincerely praying for your soul....MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.....I MISSED YOU SO MUCH....I LOVE YOU SARJ!
When you're too busy trying to run a career or run your family, it is too easy to forget how short our lives can be. We think we're immune to this... that nothing so tragic will ever befall us, our family nor our friends.
This news just breaks my heart!...How can somebody leave so soon when it seems like its not yet time?
This I believe allows us to pause for one brief moment, to stop and reflect on our own lives my dear brethren. Truly, when the time comes, as it will eventually for all of us, can you walk towards that light at the end of the tunnel and say to yourselves...yes I am ready....
Thank you for the memories Sarj, although we were not so close, but I remember. And thank you for re-introducing to us how valuable every moment is...
