ACHIEVEMENTS
April 2, 1997… Graduation Day, the most awaited
day has come, the end of these center marches and
after class rehearsals.
IV-3 students have always been excellent in all the
fields they have endeavored. That is why deep
within our hearts a battle cry can be heard – “IV-3
the best!” It is indeed true that our class is the best
section of the batch 1996-97. No one can argue with
that and we have proved it right. Here are some of
the achievements of IV-3 students and as a class in
various fields of discipline.


Academic Excellence

Jonathan Robles was the First Honorable Mention
of the batch 1996-97 graduates. This is one metallic

Student Council
In our class, potential leaders for the school
exist, so we decided to form a party and run for
the Student Council Election. The party was
named KAKAMPI ( KAbataang KAakibat na
Maisakatuparan and Pangarap na Inaasam).
During the campaign our party was the crowd
favorite. They cheered for us and showed us
their support.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Unfortunately, our party didn’t win a landslide
victory. However, KAKAMPI Party was able to
dominate the positions in the Student Council (SC)
and the less fortunate ones settle for the Kabataang
Barangay (KB) positions.

Baetiong, Ann Michelle Famini and Wellah
Lajada were presented as members of the Corps
of Sponsors.

Drama Fests
The unity of our class is the best weapon in
achieving victory. During our junior year, we
joined the Filipino Drama Fest and we defeated
III-1. It was our class that represented our school
in the inter-school drama fest. We won by
getting all the trophies at steak.

Journalism
Jonathan A. Robles was the editor-in-chief of
the Pigeoner for the SY 1996-97. Also, he was a
consistent participant of the Division and
Regional Press Conferences. During the Search
for Outstanding Campus Journalist, where all
the best student writers gathered and competed
in five categories namely: editorial writing,
feature writing, news writing, copy reading and
headline writing and sports writing category
where he placed ninth.

Pageantry
Every October our school commemorates the
celebration of the United Nations anniversary by
a prestigious pageant named Search for Ms. UN.

Our class has been participating in that event. On
our senior year, we have sent 5 delegates – biggest
delegation at that time. Elsie Pusag was chosen as
one of the semi-finalists.

joined the contest. Rachelle Ronquillo and Maria
Cielo Lopez who won as the First Runner Up.
Sports
Many of our classmates were varsity players and
intramurals participants. Our section was the
champion in the Inter-Section basketball, our team
was undefeated. We defeated IV-2 with a seven
point lead and IV-1 with a 20-point lead. The
highest pointers in each game were Erwin Palines
(against IV-2) and Brian Manapat (against IV-1).
