Jeffrey Todd Matthews, 38, of Bascom died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Jackson Hospital. Todd was born January 17, 1970 in Marianna. He graduated from Malone High School. After graduation, he began employment with the University of Florida at the North Florida Research Education Center in Greenwood for 20 years, where he was the ranch manager. Todd was of the Assembly of God faith.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Malkie and Ethel Hewett; paternal grandparents Charlie Clyde and Ernestine Matthews; his uncle Lamar Matthews.
Survivors include his wife Kayren J. Matthews; two sons, Jeffrey Landon Chase Matthews and Brady Todd Matthews, both of Dellwood; his parents Farris and Shirley Matthews of Dellwood; two step-daughters, Tara Elmore of Dothan and Kristyn Elmore of Gordon, AL.; his brother Darryl Matthews and his wife Sebrina of Dellwood; two nephews, Dalton and Preston Matthews; one niece, Cheyenne Matthews.
