In Memory

John Griffin

Below was submitted by Renee Jackson - Anderson

Survived By: His mother "Miss" Bernice Griffin, his twin Carolyn and older brothers Alvin and Ricky.

He lived down the street from me. A really nice guy. A quiet guy. He died sometime before the 20th class reunion due to illness (1996). George Wanzer and Don Haight would have more info. He was interested in food services. I remember he tried to explain to me how to make the cake icing they used for large sheet cakes - not the yucky stuff that is sickening sweet. It had a nice light flavor with a hint of lemon. For those of you in sports - the food services classes catered the Sports banquet in 1975. Real mashed potatoes and that cake icing! We got thirds.

7/22/1960 - 8/24/1996
