Francesco "Frank" Addabbo, 74, of Manchester, lost his courageous two year battle with Multiple Myeloma on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 with his family at his side. Frank was the loving husband of 49 years to Judith "Judi" (Morrison) Addabbo. He was born on October 1, 1941 in Noci, Italy son of the late Vitantonio and Luigia (Dragone) Addabbo. Frank came to the United States in 1957 and had lived in Manchester for nearly 60 years. He joined the US Army Reserves on his 18th birthday and served faithfully. Frank was a dedicated salesman for Connecticut Lighting where he had worked for 19 years. He was a Communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester. Frank was a member of Manchester UNICO and the B.P.O.E # 1893. In addition to his wife Judi, he leaves his three children; Jodi Lawrence and her husband Mark and their children; Drew, Shaun and Skylar of Manchester, Mindy Corrado and her husband Joe and their children; Hannah, Mikaela and Alex also of Manchester, and Chip Addabbo and his wife Lorissa and their children; Gavin and Lulu all of Portland, OR. Frank also leaves his two brothers; Luca Addabbo and his wife Maria, and Mario Addabbo and his wife Daphne, his two sisters; Rosa Lippolis, and Laura Carucci, his two sisters-in-law; Antonia Addabbo and Patricia Morrison, his brother-in-law Jack Morrison and his wife Betsy, and many nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brother Pasquale Addabbo. Calling hours will be at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 2-5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 736 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. I met Frank soon after he arrived in this country and enjoyed seeing him on/off over the years. He was one of those people who was just instantly likable.
