Durel was a very sweet and funny friend.  He was a dear friend in 6th grade at Hillsboro Elementary School and became an even closer friend to all of us at Coffee Farmers Co-op.  He was a lot of fun to work with and would hide in the hall bath at   Co-op as we were closing just to jump out and scare Jana and I.  I still miss him very much and always will.  His memory brings a smile to my face and his passing still brings a lot of sorrow to my heart.

I still look for Durel's smiling/laughing face when I go into Manchester Co-Op--gone but will never be forgotten!

Durel was was my son Shawn's baseball coach and he gave the boys  guidance,  skill, attention and his time.  He was always kind and soft spoken to the boys, never expected them to have skill beyond what they should have had.  I don't doubt Durel's coaching some boys in Heaven and they're having a Heavenly Good Time!

I questioned Durel's death when it happened but now I know God needed him and Durel was ready to meet  his Heavenly Father.  Durel, I'm looking forward to seeing you again when God calls me Home!
