MANSFIELD: Bonnie K. Sturgis, 60, of Mansfield, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born February 1, 1949 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Raymond and Lois (McQue) Edmond.

She was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #16. Bonnie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time at Lake Erie and on the Ohio River. Her CB handle was "Fender Binder" and she also enjoyed playing BINGO, and spending time on the computer.

She is survived by her husband, Danny K. Sturgis; children and their spouses, Kimberly McNeely, Ronnie Welty, and Michael and Jennifer Welty, all of Mansfield; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Frederick Edmond of Parma; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Edmond; sister, Shirley Edmond; and infant son, Timothy Welty.
