Terry Brenneman

 

Terry Arthur Brenneman, 55, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at his Mansfield home. He fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. He is remembered and honored by his many family and friends.
 
Terry was born Sept. 2, 1950, to Rolland and Beverly Brenneman. A 1968 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, he was a medic in the USAF from 1968 to 1972.
 
He graduated from Ricks College (Rexburg, ID) with a nursing degree in 1977 and from Minneapolis School of Anesthesia in 1981. Terry was employed by Anesthesia Associates of Mansfield and worked 23 years as a nurse anesthetist at MedCentral.
 
Terry was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he faithfully served in various positions. Terry participated in the Boy Scouts as a leader and was a member of the American Legion, NRA, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the Singe Action Shooting Society (SASS). His interests included carpentry, airplanes, and old music, movies, and radio programs.
 
He was a devoted husband and father, and he always loved spending time with his family.
 
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Ann Tracy Brenneman; his children, Steven Terry, Amy Martha, and Luke Evan, all of Mansfield; a brother Lee (Lora) Brenneman of Crestline; a sister Lana (Steve) Webb of Olive Hill, KY; aunts Kay (Paul) Simon of Perrysville, Marsha (Bill Berkshire of Galion, June (Richard) Butterfield of Silver Springs, FL; uncles, Larry (Carol) Brenneman of Mansfield, Jack (Linda) Brenneman of Apex, NC. Terry loved and was beloved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as members of his wife’s family.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Rolland, and mother, Bev; grandparents, Arthur and Ada Brenneman, and Elmer and Chloe Gottfried; aunt, Janice Helbig; brother-in-law, David Miles Tracy.
 
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 ad from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday August 20, at Wappner Funeral Directors, S. Diamond St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1951 Middle Bellville Road. Interment will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West.
