Hi Arnie,

My father was Robert M. Wolk Class of '66 Marblehead High.

He died suddenly of a heart attack in August 2009 at the Age of 60.

He has 2 Facebook Memorials

He has 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters (sadly born after he passed)

He owned a chain of computer stores called Computer Magic in the 80s mostly on Cape Cod.

After stores like Best Buy and Comp USA came on the scene he took to teaching. He got his doctorate in 2007 (just barely beating my sister Andrea who got hers in 2009 a few months before he passed and is now a Professor of Art history at Case Western in Cleveland) and was a beloved professor and Chair of the Management Department at the Bridgewater State School of Business. He also taught at Mass Maritime Academy, Dean, Lasell and Fisher Here is a very nice obituary http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=5246995 (page 7)

I still have his monogrammed gum case which I hear he was quite famous for.

I can send you any photos or additional photos you may need. Thank you for remembering him he was a wonderful father and mentor to many. Do not hesitate to contact me or to connect anyone he knew to me.

Sincerely,

Wendy E Wolk Ryan

I reached out to Robert's daughter Wendy Wolk,  to learn more about Bob's life story and his sudden death. I am sharing her email with our class.   She has a touching tribute page on Facebook.  I admire Bob for having inspired such love from a daughter who so much valued his presence in her life.

Thank you for sharing that information! :*)

Terrific that we have an idea of what happened after high school!
