Furtita, left this life way to soon. She was a very beautiful, and smart person whom I had the pleasure of coping off of when we had test, and exams. She is missed more than anyone really knows. From time to time I can still see those big pretty eyes, along with her smile.

It is very true that when you meet a good person you will remember him or her throughout your life. I feel as though I was a lucky person to have known a person as special as Furtita Brascomb. She was a very beautiful young lady who I have thought about many times over the years.

God bless our classmate Furtita Branscomb is with our God in heaven; I always remember her she shared our music with us. God Bless her and her family.

I miss her smile, it didn't take much for me to make Furtita laugh. It hurt me to my heart to find out that she had past. Love ya girl....

I had written a poem for Furtita in my memory book and I am going to post it here.

Tribute to my deceased Classmate "Ms. Furtita Branscomb"

I thank the Lord for giving me this day,
For it seems everyone in my generation is passing away.
I'll never forget the day my classmate died,
The whole class of "84" just cried.
She was the sweetest, nicest person in our class,
And it just didn't seem right for her to pass.
We all will remember her and her gentle way,
She liked to discuss our "Class Day".
So I'd like to take this time out to say:

All the love we have will never succumb,
For she was a wonderful classmate --
Ms. Furtita Branscomb
