My last memory of Frenchie Perkins took place in Mrs. Keogh's class in the 5th grade. Frenchie sat in front of me and one day she decided to share her cheetos. She gave me a few but I decided that I needed more. So I reached into her coat pocket and finished off the entire bag of cheetos. Later, Frenchie reached into her pocket only to discover that there were no more chips left. Frenchie looked me in the eyes, you know she had nice eyes and beautiful long hair, and said " Lisa, I know that your greedy tail didn't eat them all, you are going to buy me some more". And of course, the next day I had those bag of cheetos because Frenchie was waiting for me at Mrs. Keogh's door that morning. That is my fondest memory of Frenchie Perkins; however, she and I did have the opportunity to share some more precious moments in 6th grade before she left us. I will always keep her in my heart.

Frenchie Perkins was small in size but big at heart. She dressed well and had a lot of nice things.
I remember in the 6th grade we shared lockers. She had been absent for a while and I knew that she was ill but didn't understand the seriousness of her illness. One day she came back to school to retrieve her items. I was called out of the classroom to open the locker for her. On the way to the locker I asked her when would she be returning to school and she stated she was never coming back. I wish that I could have really understood what was going on or that she would have told me that she was dying soon. I think that she was just sparing my feelings knowing that I wouldn't be able to handle it.
I thank GOD for the time I did get to know her.
I'm also reminded a time in the third grade Frenchie told Loti Moore that I broke the button on her coat when she actually did it. Lori of course believe Frenchie, even though Frenchie was wearing the coat. Lori was angry at me for no reason. She never ask me my side of the story; which was I didn't kow what happened but I didn't make it happen. I brought candy to school for a long time trying to keep Frenchie and Lori from being upset with me. To mend back the friendship that should have never been broken. Anything to keep the peace.Still today in a mature way, I try to do things for peace sake!!!

Hello all, I remember frenchie quite well she was a good person and a friend. She and I lived across the road from each other. Their was nothing I could do to make her mad. She will always have a special place in my heart.
