Dwight was one who could take any old car, fix it up and drive it on the highway with no problems.

I remember him as daring.
One night we were coming from skating in Forrest City, he was doing about 90 mph drag racing with another car in the wrong lane. GOD was watchful that night

Dwight, was another friend, although we fought a lot. I respected him. He had great potential in basketball. He cracked jokes all the time to the point that you wanted to fight. One thing I'll remember he was in this singing / dancing group with Lisa Robinson, Montey oliver, Milton Green, Shasta Cooks, there were others. You couldn't tell them they could dance. I still remember the song (wide receiver) These guys were funny! Montey, and Dwight were very good friends too. I don't know who were the fastest between the too.

My little brother...there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss him! He had so many gifts from God, he could fix almost anything. He was always smiling and joking, a happy soul. He was a kind and giving person. We would always have fights; because he wanted to be the oldest, always, as little kids he always tried to protect me. I remember one time he was fighting three brothers, Howard, Steve and Lee Austin, (don't know if you remember them they move away when we were younger), but it was a rock throwing fight, and I was trying to help my brother throw rocks...lol. Well, he got mad at ME because I would not leave and go home; he did not want me to get hurt! So....he got so mad he turned and through a rock and hit me and hit me over my eye, I still have the scar to this day! My BROTHER!

One summer I went to Jersey for vacation, we had gotten new bikes, when I came home at the end of summer, he had completely tore my NEW bike apart and rebuilt it into some kind of hotrod.....I was HOT and crying! Oh did I tell you how he would chase me around the yard with an earthworm to take my candy!

He would break mama's TV down and tell her he fixed it, there was nothing wrong with it to begin with, he just wanted to know how it worked. I love you Dwight!

Dwight Rivers, what a guy. Dwight was a gentle soul with a great big heart. As his sister stated, Dwight would break things just so he could fix them. Alesia and I use to refer to him as "the shade tree mechanic" and he hated that name.During our cheerleading days, Dwight use to play protector of us at the away games, he use to yell at the fans of other teams who were picking at us. I remember one day at T.A. Futrall I took Dwight's only dollar and purchased me a snack out the vending machine. Dwight came looking for me after school asking for that dollar, he said to me, I don't care how you pay me back food stamp, but whipping, or whatever, but I want my dollar back right now. The next day at cheerleader practice, I accidently hit the floor, and Dwight was my spotter. He was serious about that dollar.Lol I love you Dwight, and I pray that we meet again this side of heaven.
