REUNION POEM # 2

Saddle shoes Houses, diapers

Drama cues Baby wipers

Date in twos Pay the pipers

Harmar Hill views. Watch for vipers.

Homecoming floats Up the ladder

Tiger coats Feeling madder

Passing notes Wanna be badder

Prom queen votes. End up sadder.

Senior class Children wed

Bands of brass Balding head

Hallway pass Grandchildren fed

Smart aleck sass. Classmates dead.

Slumber party Find a church

Boys so farty Or a beautiful white birch

Party hearty Make a perch

Valedictorian smartie. Begin your search.

Best friend/buddy See the joy

River's muddy Don't be coy

Fuddy duddy Life's not a toy

Hardly study. You don't need a ploy.

Teachers rule Love each other

Mechanics' tool Even your brother

Drunken fool Have your druther

Yeh, you're cool. Remember your mother.

College or job Come back in five

Just don't rob Hope you're alive

Be a snob Don't take a dive

Soon you'll sob. Keep up your jive.
