We Remember Her

Selma Pearl Arnold Smith

August 12, 1944 - November 9, 2021

Our dear classmate, Selma Pearl Smith, 77, of Camden, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born on August 12, 1944 in Marietta, OH to the late Paul Arnold and Josephine Dobbins Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Smith; brothers, Roger Arnold, Wayne Arnold and sister, Frances Mizell.  She was a CNA with Camden Healthcare for 29 years and Catholic in faith.

She is survived by sons Joe Smith Jr. of Union City, TN; Anthony (Barb) Smith of Andover, MN; Jason Smith of Camden, TN; Adam Smith of Camden, TN; daughters Jennifer (Michael) Durham of Saltillo, MS; Jessie Smith of Camden, TN; brother Jacob Arnold; sister Eva Eletherio; grandchildren Stephanie, Jordan, Emily, Alyssia, Jenna, Julia, Matthew; and great grandchild Silas.

Visitation with the family was held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home. Graveside services were held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10 am at Flatwoods Cemetery in Camden, TN.
