VINCENT - Richard Parker McAfee, 51, of Vincent died at 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 1995, at his home.

He was born June 8, 1944, at Tunnel to Helen Hearn McAfee Cozzens and Carl McAfee. He was a graduate of Marietta High School with the Class of 1962. On Oct. 28, 1963, he was employed by Forma-Scientific and has continued with the firm for 32 years as a supervisor. He was also the owner and operator of Red's Pool Room in Vincent. He was a member of the 25-year club at Forma Scientific.

On Aug. 28, 1964, he married Donna Welch who survives with two sons, Don McAfee and his wife, Amy, and Dwayne McAfee and his wife, Christina, all of Vincent; and his granddaughter, April McAfee of Vincent. He is also survived by his mother of Marietta; two sisters, Deanna Lang of Lowell and Darlene Robinson of Rome, Ga.; two half brothers, Reese McAfee of Fleming and George McAfee of Findley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at McClure-Schafer Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hubbard and Jody Laughery officiating. Burial is in Watertown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Saturday morning until the hour of the services. The family will be present to meet friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
