Mary Jo McCauley

Mary "Jo" McCauley, 59, of 917 Lancaster St., Marietta, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born Nov. 10, 1944, in Marietta to John H. and Mary Bauer McCauley. She graduated from Marietta High School with the Class of 1962. She also graduated from Mountain State Business College. She worked for Airolite, Dravo and Connex and was currently working as an administrative assistant for M.I.E., where she had worked for the past 10 years. She was a member of First Congregational Church.

She is survived by a special friend, Larry Noe of Marietta; her mother of Marietta; two sisters, Ann Marlene Dyar and her husband, Patrick, of Marietta and Judith Urich and her husband, Thomas, of North Hollywood, Calif.; two nieces, Michele Dyar of Pompton Lakes, N.J., and Tammy Clayton of Houston, Texas; two nephews, Christian Urich of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Justin Urich of North Hollywood; one great-niece, Angela Clayton of Houston; and one great-nephew, Trevor Clayton of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1992; and one brother, John Frank McCauley, in 1933.

Services are a 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hadley Funeral Homes, Reno Chapel, with the Rev. Linda Steelman and the Rev. Jim Fernihough officiating. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
