Our Dear Classmate Linda McLaughlin Nichols Has Died
We lost our friend Linda on August 11, 2022.
Linda had moved to live with her son, Kevin Nichols, a few years ago. He is a motorcycle lover, and she rode with him on the club's weekend trips. Linda loved the rides and the people. She was a fabulous cook and loved preparing dishes for the club meetings. It was a great few years for her even though she was being treated for her cancer.

Linda Lou McLaughlin
August 28, 1942 - August 11, 2022
Linda Lou McLaughlin Nichols, age 79, daughter of Wilber Carl McLaughlin and Sarah Mildred Sauer of Marietta, Ohio, born August 28, 1942, took her ride into eternity August 11, 2022, from her home in Statesville NC.
Her love of animals, art, and ultimately motorcycles was second only to her love for her family. She was mother to three sons Kevin, Kenneth and Keith Nichols. Linda was thrilled to be close to several of her grandchildren who lived locally to include her "Rose Bud" Ashley Marie Nichols and her grandsons James Nichols and Richard Sardini III. Linda's five other grandchildren lived out of state but were still a source a great pleasure to her. Her legacy continues from there in her 6 great grandchildren.
Linda was loved by many and will be sorely missed as she rides with the angels. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Providence Church Of The Living God, 112 Benfield Road, Statesville NC 28677.
