Linda Lou Miller Brown, 71, of Marietta passed away at 1:45pm, Monday, August 17, 2015, at her home. She was born August 11, 1944, in Marietta a daughter Lloyd Harold Miller and Evelyn Dale VanFossen Miller.
Linda was a graduate of Marietta High School. She had been employed by Attorney Robert Hauser and later by Pennington Bakery, Marietta Ignition, and Aerolite Corporation. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, serving in the Ladies Circle and as a volunteer for Franciscan Meals.
On October 20, 1963, she married Gary L. Brown who preceded her in death on March 21, 1992. Linda is survived by her 2 sons, Douglas Lee (Vonda) Brown of Marietta and Stephen J. (Carol Wagner) Brown of Reno; grandchildren: Jake, Brooke, Logan, Eric and Lianna Brown and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Ronald H. (Linda) Miller, Cheryl (Marty) Hansell, Marsha (Frank) Moeckel, Sharon Yosenick, Allen (Jean) Miller, Uncle and Aunt, Leonard and Joan Vanfossen and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Aug. 21) at 1:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hendershot officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
