WILLIAMSTOWN - Richard David Weaver, 61, of Kittle Street, Williamstown, and former resident of Marietta and Parkersburg, died at 5:57 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 19, 1944, in Marietta, a son of Clyde and Adelaide Palmer Weaver. He was a graduate of Marietta High School and had been employed at American Cyanamid (later Cytex) until his retirement. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed bowling and was also an active member of the Democratic Party.

He married Kenda Nicholas, who survives with one sister, Ruth Cox of Chandler, Ariz.; one uncle, Gerald Weaver of McConnelsville; and one aunt, Lucille Weaver of central Ohio.

There will be no visitation and memorial services will be announced at a later date.
