50th Reunion

    Redneck Penguins

This is the Marshall High School classes of 1960 and 1961 reunion web site. Everything you want or need to know about the reunion will be available here, and any changes to planned activities will be updated as soon as plans are consolidated. Additionally, your personal page is set up so that you can share with others, more of "what has been going on with you and your family".  Feel free to "link" your Facebook, My Space, You Tube, etc. to your personal page. Insert recent photos of you and your family, add your "since I left MHS" history, etc.  Probably the best place to start is the "First Time Visitors", page.  Click on the link in the top left hand corner of this page.

The site is still "UNDER CONSTRUCTION", so expect changes to the various pages. However, it is now available for your perusal and personal pageimprovement. We are linked to PayPal, but have not activated the link. When it is time to pay for reunion activities, T shirts, whatever, we can do it online, with credit/debit cards or echecks.

The site will be updated, active and useful for as long as class members want it to be. Update your personal information anytime you wish, and encourage other classmates to continue updating theirs.  When you enter the Home Page, there is a box in the upper right hand corner that will indicate who else is using the site, go to the Online Chat, and see if you can begin a dialogue, or go to the Message Center and start one.  We have "Administrators" for both classes to help with development of your personal page, as well as respond to questions you have about the site. They will also, check the new data entered by classmates to assure that it is admissable.  Info60@marshallmavs.com for the class of 1960 and info61@marshallmavs.com for the class of 1961.

Music For Mavs

Tips For Player Use:

1) To listen to the 50's music no matter what page you are on, Click on the big start/stop button on the Player below, to stop the music, then Click on the"Pop Out Player" button.  The Player will load on another page.  Click on the start/stop button to start the music, then on the intertwined arrows button at the top of the box, to select Shuffle.  Also on the top right hand side of the Player is the volume that you can toggle up or down. Then minimize this page, and you will be returned to the Home Page.  Now the music will play as long as you're in this website.

2) The forward or back arrows on the Player will, of course, take you to the next or previous song.

3) Click on the large start/stop button to pause or mute the music, if it's driving you crazy.

4) Notice:

a) Even if the "Pop Out Player" is playing, every time you reenter the Home Page, the Player on that page will startup, and both the"Pop Out Player" and Home Page Player will be playing.  Just scroll down the Home Page to the Player and click on the start/stop button.

b) There are You Tube musical videos on the Military Service page, and there is music on the In Memory page and the obituaries.  You will want to bring up the Pop Out page and stop the music before entering these webpages.

5) If you would like to suggest more song titles, contact eddclark@sonic.net or any of the other administrators.
