Chester Lee Harber

Memorial services for Chester Lee Harber, 63, of Marshall will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church with Bro. Carl Williams officiating under the direction of Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Mr. Harber died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006 in Shreveport, La. He was born March 1, 1943 to Jack and Ruth Smith Harber in Marshall. Mr. Harber served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was chief water operator for the city of Marshall until his retirement in 1997. Mr. Harber is survived by his spouse, Barbara Harber of Marshall; two daughters, Lisa Cochran of Marshall and Tiffany Self of Fort Worth; two sons, Patrick Harber of Marshall and Timothy Ratley of Clarinda, Iowa; one sister, Betty Sue Carney of Bedford, Texas; three brothers, Carroll Harber and Charles Harber of Marshall and Tommy Harber of Shreveport, La.; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
