It is with sorrow that I read of the passing of one of our favorite  classmates, Bill Lewis. Bill was a great guy and a good friend. He was a kindhearted, congenial person that with fun to be around. He could always pick you up. We went through junior high, high school and college together. Our years at Texas A&M were special and forged a particularly strong relationship. I think we all enjoyed the pleasure of his company and he will be greatly missed by us all. JS

Like me, Bill was a Sam Houston (East End student)  I am so saddened by his death.  He had a smile for everybody and his absence at our 60th Reunion will be such a loss.

Bill was one of my special friends who could always be counted on to bring a smile to your face!  He was genuine, kind and loved being an Aggie!  He was also a great dancer and I have wonderful memories of kicking up our heels together.  You are missed my sweet friend!  Melissa

Bill was the last of the East Austin Street Gang members.  Bunch of elementary school kids  who rode bikes, hung out and played night games of a hide & seek nature, day games of football, baseball and assundry other "good kid" games. Some from East End and some from the Catholic school.   Good memories. He will always have a warm place in my heart.

Bill will always be remembered. I was able to find a couple of pictures of him and me dancing at one of the May Fates at East End. I sent them to his daughter and she had heard of the yearly May Fates, but hadn't seen any pictures. She loved them. He was genuine, kind and funny. I remember him with love.
