Dennis Boles

July 21, 1943 - December 7, 2013

 

Dennis Lynn Needham Boles went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2013, in Mont Belvieu, Texas.

 

She was born on July 21, 1943 in Lockesburg, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Denver Needham and Chanie Doss Needham, her step-mother Nell Needham, her siblings David and Diana Needham, and her grandsons John and Paul Pelham.

 

She attended schools in West Memphis, Arkansas, and Marshall, Texas, and later graduated from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas. Dennis loved to travel and lived in the Dominican Republic, Scotland and Holland. She also traveled extensively in the US, and visited Aruba, Mexico, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Italy, Monte Carlo, and Turkey.

 

Dennis was a successful entrepreneur and through the years owned several businesses, including Hairstyles Unlimited, Boles Electric, The Jelly Bean Junction Daycare, and Buzzards Roost RV Park. Dennis was also instrumental in founding Infinity Electrical Contractors. The construction phase of her latest project, Hackberry Creek Business Center, was still underway when she passed.

 

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Roger Warren Boles, daughters Kim and husband Ray Melchor, Melynda and husband Arty Weber, Paula and husband Alex Baylot Jr., Rachelle and husband Larry Pelham, and a step brother, Richard Hearne. She leaves behind her grandchildren Jennifer Remaly, Kandice and Roger Melchor, Justine Aggers, Rochelle Weber, Kenneth and Kirsten Tackett, Nathan and Brittany Baylot, and Robert and Laura Pelham. She also left behind great grandchildren Emily Staten, Gemma Aggers, and Skylar Files.

I am sorry to hear of Dennis passing. She always had a smile and was a good friend. Will always remember and miss her.

Roger,

You have my sincere sympathy.  My prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.  When I think of Dennis back in the halls of MHS, i recall her with a smile.  She will be missed.
