I received an update from Barbara Hemphill (Pearson). 

Barbara developed a 50 year career around publishing in mental health assessments. Dr. Hemphill had a textbook published recently in Occupational Therapy. It is co edited entitled "Assessments in Occupational Therapy Mental Health". This is the 4th edition. It was published by Slack, Inc. The year before Dr. Hemphill published a book entitled "Occupational Therapy and Spirituality" . It was published by Routledge. She is a fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association and received recognition from the OT profession as one of the 100 most influential OTs in the last 100 years of the profession. Since her retirement from Western Michigan University, she stays active. Serving on several editorial boards, and past chair of the ethics commission.
Barbara lives with her husband John Pearson, a cat named Henry, a dog name Suzie.
