Former Marshalltown, Iowa resident Mary Iverson died peacefully in her Carmel, California home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Funeral services were held in Piedmont, California on April 30, 2010.

Mary is survived by her husband, Leigh Iverson; her daughters, Leisel Iverson of Carmel, CA, and Rachael Iverson and Sarah Iverson, both of Honolulu, HI; her sister, Cindy (Jack) Saunders of Leadville, CO, their three daughters; and several first cousins in Marshalltown, Judith Cameron, Linda York, Susan Malloy, James McMurray and Helen Claussen.  Also, John (Gus) Williams, Pittsburg, PA, & Tom Williams, Memphis TN.

The family wishes to honor Mary's philanthropic interests by requesting gifts in her memory to the following: University of Iowa, College of Nursing (CON), Class of 1964 Scholarship, Levitt Center, 500 Park Road, Iowa City, IA 52240; Project Hope, 255 Carter Hall Lane, Milwood, VA 22346; or, the Church of the Wayfarer Garden Endowment, P.
