Classmate, Eileen Hall Hutzell, Hagerstown, MD passed away, Monday, March 29, 2010 after fighting a long hard battle of infection from her liver transplant. Chris, her daughter, has done a wonderful job keeping Eileen's classmates updated and we thank her for that.

 

 Eileen Ardella Hutzell, 68, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.

Born Feb. 28, 1942, in Lime Springs, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Vera Elizabeth Stanbro Hall.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roger Hutzell, in 1996.She was a graduate of Hood College with a degree in finance. She was a member of Sigma Beta Phi Sorority and served as treasurer.

She was employed as a branch manager with Farmers and Mechanics Bank in Frederick, Md., until retiring in 2004.

She was a member of Hancock United Methodist Church, where she also served as treasurer.

She was a member of Financial Women International, Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and active in United Way of Frederick County, Md.

Survivors include: daughters, Lynnette E. Gabler and her husband, Mike, of Jacksonville, Fla., Deanna M. Flook and her husband, Mike, of Hagerstown and Christine D. Hutzell of Hagerstown; and son, Dennis J. Hutzell and Karen Buhrman of Hagerstown. 11 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren

A memorial service will be at Hancock United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Duane L. Jensen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
