Diane E. Ohrt, 48

Diane E. Ohrt, 48, of 3403 Merritt Road, died early Tuesday, July 3, at her home of cancer.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Jaspers officiating.  Burial will be in the Vienna Cemetery near Beaman. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pursel- Davis Funeral Home.;  A memorial has been established.

Mrs. Ohrt was born to Carl and Arlene Ridout Atcher in Marshalltown and was raised and educated in Dunbar and Marshalltown, graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1960. The family lived near Conrad until moving to Marshalltown in 1983.  Mrs. Ohrt was employed by Fisher Controls for 17 years, working in Quality Assurance before retiring in April.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include her husband, Frederick, two children, Dana and Matt Ohrt, both of Marshalltown, a sister, Jan Hayler of Marion, and a brother, Robert Atcher of Marshalltown.

Services were Friday morning at Fellowship Baptist Church for Diane E. Ohrt, 48, of Marshalltown.  The Rev. Glen Jaspers officiated with burial in the Vienna Cemetery near Beaman.   Honorary Bearers were Clarence Hugh Ridout, Leon Ridout, Carlton, Ridout, Chuck Atcher, Chuck Hoskins, Henry Werner and Wendell Powers.  Bearers were Ron Engle, Wayne Roberts, Vern Katzer, Louie Johnson, Bill Smaha and George Stille.  Groups in attendance were from Iowa River Hospice, and Fisher Controls Co.
