City Man, 30, Takes Own Life

Gary Lee Brucklacher, 30, of 508 W. Madison St., took his own life Friday evening at his home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the county medical examiner's office.

Born Oct. 18, 1942, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Harold and Mildred Yetly Brucklacher.  He received his education in the Marshalltown Schools, graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1960 and was a 1963 graduate of Concordia College in St. Paul, MN.

Surviving are his parents Mr.& Mrs. Harold Brucklacher of Marshalltown, a brother, Robert, and his grandmother, Mrs Edna Yetley, both of Marshalltown.

Services will be from the chapel of Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Henry W. Riegel, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
