Judith K. Rigales, 56

Las Cruces, N.M. -  Judith K. Rigales, 56, of Las Cruces, N.M., died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at her home.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 8 at  Baca's Funeral Home in Las Cruces.  Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Marshalltown to Donald H. and Mildred M (Sugget) Carson.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Todd and Chad, both of Las Cruces, N. M.; her mother Mildred of Marshalltown; a sister, Sandra (Mrs. Les) Clemens of Estes Park, CO.; her fiance, Fernando Sanchez of Las Cruces; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Dear Linda, (York)

I apologize for not answering your card  for Judy.  We all thought we were getting Judy's cancer under control and then late last fall, it began growing again.  She really tried to fight it, but we all believe treatment was not started early enough.

We all miss her greatly and mom, with her memory problem has trouble remembering Judy is gone.  She asks me from time to time if I have heard from Judy, and then I have to go through it with her again, which is hard on both of us.

When you are in the area of Villa Del So, please stop and see Mom.  She will remember you, as you are in her long-term memory.  Her room is 103.

We thank you for your memorial.  I sent it home with Fernie when he was here over the 4th of July to be used in her memory there in Las Cruces.
